Na ścianie parlamentarnego korytarza wiszą fotogramy, które można sklasyfikować w trzech grupach – miejsce tragedii (ok. 40% powierzchni), żałobnicy (40%), śp. prezydent + inne (reszta). Tak zwana "cenzura" od początku była fikcją, bo jak ktoś chciał przeczytać napisy, to mógł to zrobić bez problemu (były widoczne spod zaklejających je taśm). Wystawie towarzyszył także specjalnie wydrukowany katalog, który był dostępny bez żadnych ograniczeń. No i dodatkowo wszystkie napisy od razu pojawiły się w Internecie. Próbowałem zatem dociec, co rozzłościło kwestorów i zmobilizowało do czynności cenzorskich. Okazuje się, że były to przede wszystkim akcenty antyrosyjskie.
Pierwotnie PiS reklamowało wystawę, jako okazję do wspólnego, przynajmniej polskiego, wspomnienia ofiar. Na wystawę przybyło więc kilku posłów SLD, a z Platformy pojawił się przewodniczący Parlamentu Europejskiego. No, ale wyszła hucpa z napisami i agentem Tomkiem w rolach głównych, czyli dokładnie tak, jak PiS odbywa żałobę w Polsce.
Wszystko to nie zmienia faktu, że posłowie tego ugrupowania byli bardzo zadowoleni, czas telewizyjny poświęcony represjom parlamentarnej "cenzury" wart był intrygi.
PS. Kwestorzy przeglądają wszystkie wystawy i do nich zawsze należy decyzja o lokalizacji oraz ostateczny wizerunek przedsięwzięcia. PiS w ostatniej chwili otrzymało lepsze miejsce niż pierwotnie planowano. Wiem to, gdyż stało się to kosztem wystawy na temat wolności słowa w Kazachstanie, której patronowałem.

A couple of more words about the Law and Justice's exhibition
There are photograms hanging in the hallway that can be classified in three categories - a place of the disaster (about 40% of the space), the mourners (40%) the tragically deceased president Lech Kaczynski, and some other photos. So called "censorship" was a fake from the beginning, because if one wanted to read the writings, it was not a problem because they were visible from underneath the tape placed over them. The exhibition was also including a catalog which was printed and available with no limitations. In addition to that, all the descriptions were immediately published online. I was curious enough to investigate what was it really that angered the quaestors and inspired the censorship actions. It turns out, the anti-russian elements were to blame for the most part.
Originally, the Law and Justice advertised the exhibition as an opportunity to remember the victims. There were several SLD deputees that have arrived at the exhibition, and the President of the European Parliament, was representing the Civic Platform. However, with the "special" agent Tomek, a Polish anti-celebrity, and the situation with the descriptions the event had turned out to be a fluke, just the same way that the Law and Justice "celebrated" the anniversary in Poland.
All of this doesn't change the fact that the MEPs of that party were very pleased, the media coverage devoted to the "censorship" was well worth the fuss.
PS. The quaestors always go through all the exhibitions and they are the ones to decide what the final shape of things will be. The Law and Justice managed to get a much better spot, last minute, than it was previously planned. I know that, because it was at cost of an exhibition about Kazakhstan and free speech, which I was looking after.
